It had been years since we have been here, before COVID so when I knew we would be coming through Windsor at dinner time on a Saturday (they aren't open every day, check online before you go) I was super excited. We have only been here a couple times but it made an impression. Thai food is one of my favorite ethnic foods and I remember their pad Thai being great. I was not disappointed in the least, it was as good as I remembered, maybe even better. We decided to go with the chicken pad Thai and the shrimp spicy ginger. The char on the shrimp was great and I loved the veggies in the spicy ginger dish. We got both dishes medium and they were not super spicy but had some heat, just perfect. We also had the wonton appetizer and it was good but the entrees were definitely enough food for both of us. As it was we took home leftovers. I will always go here for my Thai food cravings. Although I did see a for sale sign in the window so I should probably not wait so long in between visits!
Excellent food. Quick and fresh. They cook your order right in front of you. Can't get any fresher than that!!
I had a wonderful meal with my family at the quant, homey restaurant. The art work on the walls and the plate are phenomenal. The service was wonderful and we will be sure to return!
While working in Windsor I have ordered from many many restaurants and this is one of my go-to's. I took them up on the arrogance of their name and had the chicken pad Thai for lunch with a Tom Yum (White not red broth wtf ). The Pad Thai was outstanding and heavy enough to anchor a Detroit River barge. The Tom Yum soup had a milky white broth but was loaded with high quality crustaceans. I'm known for my big appetite and this solid Caker was filled for $21. Bravo HOPT ! My at-times head turning friend Kazoo not from Kalamazoo has also partaken here. She was suitably stuffed (by the meal). And also recommends this House cookin'. So wish me well on my continuing journey of take out discovery here in gritty Windsor. Hail The 6.
Very small, but quite comfortable- clean place and even the toilets were well maintained! Staff were friendly and efficient. Food is prepared right in front of us and the food is so fresh! The flavours, aroma and taste were amazing. Not much seating capacity, but decent enough and our whole family were able to comfortably sit - good ambience! Lot of customers were ordering food over phone.. Parking is on the street or there is a nearby public parking.
Small place cozy, modern and clean. Order and pay at the counter. Ordered peanut curry Pad Thai and Thai ice coffee. Pad thai veggies were grilled perfectly, pasta was hot and generous amount of sauce. Ice coffee was so good. Will be back again forsure.
